I go to a college that charges a $10 fee to use the gym. We have two Nautilus circuits and treadmills, ellipticals, and the like. After going for a year and running on the same treadmill, I’ve compiled a list of some of the various types of people you see at the gym.

Is it Easier to Have the Same Profession?
When it comes to work, there are 2 categories of people:
A. People whose work is just something they do, something that starts at 9 and ends at 5.B. People whose work is who they are. It’s what they eat, breathe, and live and speaks worlds of their character and values.

To Know Thyself
My Interpersonal Communications teacher gave us an assignment in the middle of class. In three minutes, we were to write down ten sentences starting with “I am…” These sentences had to be descriptive characteristics of ourselves. They could be positive, negative, or neutral. We could write whatever we wanted. She said go and I started writing on the page…
“I am smart.”
“I am a listener.”
“I am creative.”
“I am honest.”Then I drew a blank. I tried to think hard of words to describe me and I seriously couldn’t think of any. Two minutes left to make a list of ten simple sentences about ourselves.
I thought maybe changing the first sentences would give me some ideas.

I kinda wish my life was like The Sims.
There would be tons of interesting things about it.- I can be treated like family in your home. In other words, I can watch television at your house, play darts, and eat your food without really having to talk to you, and it’s totally cool. It’s still considered bonding time.- I don’t have to attend years of college to get a degree. Once I’m an adult, I’m ready to pursue my career. I automatically know what my dream is the moment I approach adulthood, despite never really giving it thought.- Delivered groceries. I don’t have to go grocery shopping, thank you!- I can call you twenty times in two days on the phone and we’re suddenly best friends for life. -
You Can Be “Rich” and Spoiled Without Being Selfish
Today, I was thinking of the reasons why people call another person spoiled or selfish just based on what they have, where they live, and what they are able to get.
I remember when I was growing up as a kid, if someone you knew or you didn’t know had a little more than you, you were so quick to judge them based on what they had and what you saw them with. Yeah, there were some people who thought they had it all and were so quick to put a label on you too if you weren’t up on their level on the material things they had. Fights use to erupt in the middle of class, walking home from school, and even in your neighborhood because of envy and self esteem.

Guide To A Myspace Photo Shoot
RULES TO AN A-OKAY MYSPACE PHOTO SHOOT.RULE #1
Always have a clean background.
Usually a single wall with a nice color scheme. If you do intend on using your home as your background, please clean first. Or else we will all see this.“I Would Never Be Friends With A Black Person”
One day, it was a Wednesday as I recall, I was sitting in chemistry class, filling out a lovely worksheet on gas laws. My table partners, Landry, Chris H, and Brandon seemed too occupied in some odd conversations about friendships to realize that the blank worksheets resting on their desks are due by the end of the period.
As soon as I found that the pressure equals to 4.91 atmospheres, at the glory of my founding, I listened in on the boys’ conversation. However, I listened in at the wrong part.
“I would never be friends with a black person,” Brandon proudly and cockily states.
The monogamy gene revisited
Due to the overwhelming and controversial response to my last entry on the monogamy gene, I decided to do a follow up for clarification.
Apparently, the notion that fidelity is something predetermined seemed to set people off. The idea that it’s genetics that decide whether we stray or remain faithful wasn’t very sound to many people. If you’re at all into science jargon, take a gander and express your opinion to me!The Latest Proof That The World is Insane: The Tiger Woods News Conference
Whether or not you’re a fan or enemy of Tiger Woods, if you perused any, and I mean ANY media outlets, there was no escaping his planned announcement for today. It was talked about on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, AP newswire, even NPR, and a myriad of online information sites.
Now his speech/apology is being played around the world. They even noted that trading in the Stock Market slowed down while the speech was on live.
Since I haven’t heard anyone say it – let me be the first:
