Behind Enemy Lines
We waited a week before we struck again. During that time some of the girls staff did a very boring and unimaginative raid on the boys camp. They came in at night and scattered the laundry bins, littered the boys camp with already dirty laundry. The boys had to pick up their dirty clothes again.
The section heads of the boys camp were all pretty much duds when it came to raiding. They talked a better plan then they carried out.Hence I summoned my boys again. It was going to be trickier this time. The girls camp had set up sentrys (making an already long day even longer). They would have to be avoided at all costs.
I drove into town to get our supplies after arranging for my boys to meet me in my office at 1am.Once again I told them to dress in black and keep their mouths shut. They got right into it, showing up with their faces smeared with mud , like some army commandos or something.
A good raid is one where no one gets hurt , and where the victims have to sit back and wonder “how did they do this?” A good raid leaves the campers alone (unless it is a planned event like a water balloon fight) or at least tries to.And of course a good raid is one you pull off and they don’t know you did it.
We met in my office at the aforementioned time and I handed out what each of us would need. I had planned out what each guy was responsible for covering. I told them where the sentrys had been posted and we agreed to meet up afterwards at the “theatre” and make our way back together. Then ever so silently, we set out.
Each of us had rubber gloves, and each of us carried a cloth bag (black of course) with four huge vats of vaseline in it. We skirted the first sentry and split up into the three sections of the girls camp. Once again we took our time, once again we remained silent and stealthy, once again we opened all the doors to the staff cabins.
And we vaselined every drawer pull and doorknob in the girls cabins. Then we made our way to the bathrooms. We vaselined every toilet seat, flusher , faucet and door knob in the bathrooms. We didn’t do the toilet seats in the littlest girls section. I was afraid of some kid getting up to pee in the middle of the night and slipping in.
It took a long time but we escaped unnoticed and even had some vaseline left so we headed down to their dining hall and did the door knobs and salt and pepper shakers there too.
In the morning the girls staff got up, sleepily went to get dressed and got a handful of vaseline, they tried to leave to wash their hands and got another handful from the doorknob. Finally getting outside, they wiped their hands on the grass and went to the bathroom, trying to open the door they got another handful. Sitting on the throne gave them a big surprise and so did trying to wash their hands. It was virtually impossible to leave the bathroom with un slippery hands.
Finally feeling safe, they went down to breakfast and got splooged again by the salt and peppers.
It drove them NUTS!! They thought they had taken adequate precautions by setting up sentrys. Ha! A contingent of them burst into the boys dining hall as we sat down to breakfast. They confronted the boys camp program staff who could quite honestly deny everything. The guys all laughed hard when told what the girls had been through that morning. The girls left without a satisfactory target for future raids.
My boys and I remained under their radar. Me being a hardass left us unsuspected. We looked a little tired that day, but if anyone noticed they said nothing.Plus late nights were part of our job description.
Later all the guys program staff came into my office to congratulate me and my boys. They were quite open in their admiration. I reminded them to keep their mouths shut. One slip to a girlfriend and we were doomed.
I told them for my next raid I was going to need their help…..
